5-4-3-2-1 Grounding Activity

Last week on the "Stay Connected" Lunch and Learn our guest presenter, Dr. Tandrea Carter, shared a grounding technique that can be used to help ease your mind in times of stress and anxiety. The infographic below and this article describe the technique. It is a coping technique that can be used to calm the mind. Your first step should be to take some long, slow, deep breaths. Then turn your mind to these 5 things to help ground you in the present moment.
